Elk Antler Spagyric Tincture

Elk Velvet Antler is a traditional restorative tonic used to support physical recovery, joint health, strength, stamina, and sexual vitality.

Male elk regenerate an entirely new set of antlers each year. During their fastest period of growth, the antlers can grow as much as one centimeter per day. They are harvested during the velvet stage, while they are still rich in naturally occurring collagen, glycosaminoglycans, amino acids, minerals, and growth factors including IGF1, IGF2, nerve growth factor (NGF), neurotrophin-3, fibroblast growth factors, vascular endothelial growth factors and many more.

From a Chinese medicine perspective, deer antler is said to “nourish the Yin, tonify the kidney, invigorate the spleen, strengthen bones and muscles, and promote blood flow.” Others consider it to be a strong yang jing tonic, while also supporting qi and shen, and thus containing all of ‘The Three Treasures.’

Lost Empire Herbs' Elk Velvet Antler comes from sustainably raised American elk. The antlers are collected under veterinary supervision while the animals are anesthetized, without killing or permanently harming the elk. The herd is also tested for chronic wasting disease as required by the state.

Unlike products that use only the antler tips, we use the entire velvet antler, including:

* The upper “wax” portion
* The middle “blood” portion
* The lower “bone” portion

Freeze-dried antler slices are extracted for at least six weeks in organic cane alcohol and filtered spring water. The remaining antler material is then calcined, and its soluble mineral salts are collected and returned to the finished tincture.

Each 1 mL serving contains the equivalent of approximately 300 mg of extracted Elk Velvet Antler.
